This weekend eight goats came. They foraged inside an electric fence, safe from predators, clearing out a lot of honeysuckle. They loved the sweet potato vines I shared, playing tug of war with them. And they feasted on the pears that I brought over by the bucket full off of an old pear tree near the chicken house. I think I might be falling in love with a new animal.
What fun! Will they stay or are you borrowing them to clear the land? We highly suggest you take the ferry and go to Nantucket and Martha's vineyard and from Boston take the ferry to p-town Provincetown and then drive or ride down to cape cod it is great fun and a beautiful island with many biking and walking paths along the beach. We are in Omaha and thinking of you as we have one more day to learn the schedules before Mom and Dad leave and we watch three grandchildren for a week, in The burbs, many carpools!!
